Microbiology is a very advanced and latest form of educational subject included in the education arena. The course includes study of various kinds of microorganism. The study of microbes helps us to understand this world and our place within it. Microbes are very diverse, they are fascinating, and modern imaging techniques show that they can be very beautiful.
This course is intended as an introduction to the biology of microorganisms with applications to medicine, food science, industry, and agriculture.
Objective
Microbiology answers big questions by giving us knowledge of very small things. The objective of the subject is that the
- Students will be able to acquire, articulate, retain and apply specialized language and knowledge relevant to microbiology.
- Student will gain in-depth knowledge of the field through various subjects taught in the program.

After taking the round of the campus, facilities, class-rooms, labs etc, a student obtains the Admission Form from the institute office or can download it from our website www.iamr.ac.in, fill it up and submit it to the office. An interview follows and if found suitable, is admitted to the stream of his/her choice or suitability. Admission starts from April-end. Admissions are given as per norms of CCS University, Meerut.
Candidate must have passed B.Sc. from a recognized university in Biological sciences, Agriculture, Microbiology / biotechnology/ BMLT with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.
The admission to the M.Sc. Microbiology program will be on the basis of the merit determined by the aggregate marks at graduation level.
