Physiotherapy is a dynamic health care system that restores overall health by enhancing movements, eliminating pain and boosting functional independence through evidence-based physiotherapy approaches. IAMR Group of Institution offers Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program since 2000 affiliated from CCS University, Meerut (2000-2020) and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow (2021 onwards). The college integrates strong theoretical foundations, intensive clinical training and active participation in research to prepare competent and ethical physiotherapy professionals.

• Five year full-time programme with four academic years followed by a compulsory one year rotatory internship in recognised clinical and community settings.
• Broad curriculum covering basic and clinical sciences, specialised branches of physiotherapy, community-based rehabilitation, research methodology, biostatistics, general surgery, general medicine, microbiology .
• Emphasis on hands-on learning through OPD postings, clinical rotations, community camps, simulation and skills laboratories, along with guided student projects and seminars that build critical thinking and research skills.

• Students are oriented to research methodology and evidence-based physiotherapy, enabling them to read, interpret and apply current scientific literature in clinical decision making.
• The department encourages a culture of inquiry through faculty-mentored undergraduate research projects, journal clubs, workshops and collaborations with research groups and rehabilitation centres.

Candidate must have passed intermediate / (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with english as the main subjects with an aggregate of 50% in the above subjects from any recognised board from goverment of India. NEET- UG is mandatory as basic eligibility criteria.

Students seeking admission in BPT course at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow will have to appear for bothNEET-UG Entrance exam and CPET i.e Common Paramedical Entrance Test and participate in counseling rounds. BPT is a five year program (4 years study + 1 year internship).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification	Candidate must have passed class XII from any recognized board.
Minimum Marks	General Candidates need to score minimum 50% with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and passed in English individually. Reserved category candidates need to score minimum 45 % with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and passed in English individually.
Age Limit	Minimum age limit 17 years Maximum age limit only for government Institute is 35 yrs. For others no age limit.

Counselling Procedure

• The eligible candidates will have to register on online portal for counseling and seat allocation through official website edu.in by using same registration Id and password.
• Candidate has to pay Counseling registration fee and Security fee through online portal only.
• Security fee will be refunded back to the source from where payment was originally made.
• After seat allotment the candidate has to pay a seat confirmation fee through online mode only to ABVMU, UP to confirm seat allotment.

After seat allotment, the candidate has to report in college in person to the allotted college for document verification to deposit administrative fee in the college and to complete admission procedure.

• Graduates can work as Physiotherapists in multispecialty hospitals, rehabilitation centres, sports and fitness facilities, homecare services, NGOs, MNCs and community health programmes in India and abroad.
• With experience and higher education, student can specialise in areas such as musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, cardiopulmonary or sports physiotherapy, and pursue careers in teaching, clinical research, administration and consultancy.
