Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Program” on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti
IAMR Law College organized “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Program” on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 29 September 2023. For this event, the students along with the faculty members went to Bapudham Police Chowki, Ghaziabad. Poor hygiene and cleanliness has been causing maximum number of infant deaths in the country. Moreover, there is a direct link between poor sanitation and diseases like diarrhea, cholera typhoid etc. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched by Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi on 2nd October 2014. Launching the events from Raj Path, New Delhi, he also paid his respects to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversary. That’s why it’s celebrated every year.
