BiotechniX -2023: A two Hands-on workshop on “Immunological Techniques and Recombinant DNA Technology” on 20.02.2023 and 21.02.2023

Day 1: 20.02.2023. A hands-on workshop on “Immunological Techniques and Recombinant DNA Technology” was held at the Faculty of Life Sciences, and the attendees were given the opportunity to experience the hands-on laboratory process of extracting DNA, RNA, and plasmid from prokaryotic organisms, testing for blood groups and performing immunology techniques like Single Radial Immunodiffusion (SRID) and Ouchterlony Double Diffusion ODD). The workshop was led by experienced faculty members Dr. Fanish Kr. Pandey, Dr. Bhupendra Kumar, and Dr. Rajni Tyagi who provided an interactive experience of the processes involved in each of these tests. The workshop provided an opportunity for participants to gain practical experience in the use of laboratory techniques apart from routine experiments.
