FLS Orientation Programme - Aarambh

To initiate a new session for our future scientists and bio-entrepreneurs, the Department of Life Sciences at Institute of Applied Medicines and Research, Ghaziabad, organized an Orientation Programme “Aarambh” on 20th August 2025 for B.Sc. Honors and M.Sc. Biotechnology & Microbiology students. The programme commenced with the auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom, followed by the welcome address by Dr. Abha Vashistha, Principal, Institute of Applied Medicines & Research, Ghaziabad. Dr. Archana Dayal, Founder & Director, Zenomix Biolab Pvt. Ltd., Greater Noida, and Mr. Ashish Mishra, Assistant Manager, Param Milk Industry, were the guest for the day.
Dr. Dayal delivered an insightful talk on “Recent Trends and Advances in Biotechnology & Microbiology”. She exemplified her own research work and encouraged the students to pose questions and take a logical step to solve those problems through science.
Mr. Ashish Mishra motivated students with his talk by encouraging them to embrace innovation and confidence in their academic journey. He advised them not to set limits on knowledge but to set goals in their life and work towards those goals passionately.
