Program Overview
MCA is a PG program in computer science and applications. It is a two-year professional course designed to meet the growing demand in the software industry which combines both practical and theoretical knowledge in which candidates get a deep understanding of software development, programming languages, database management, and computer networks.
Master of Computer Applications course includes core, foundation, and elective courses. The topics related to computer science and applications are covered. The students learn about Mathematics for Computer Science, Statistics and Probability, Discrete Mathematics, Computer Organization and Architecture, Data Structures and Algorithms, Programming with Java/C++, Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, Web Technologies, Computer Graphics, Data Mining and Data Warehousing, etc. The admission process is two ways: through the entrance exam and direct admission. The seats are allotted based on their ranks, preferences, and availability of seats.
